Dear Fellow Fly fishers, Conservationist and River Users:
Welcome to the 2019 joint North Idaho Fly Casters and Inland Empire Fly Fishing Club Summer Conservation Festival kickoff. This year’s Conservation Festival is Saturday July 27th, and has blossomed with the willingness of other groups to join the cause. These groups include Bill LaCrosse & Neighbors, ADM Milling Co., The Mayfly Project, and Orvis Northwest Outfitters. We welcome all the groups and individual volunteers for all your various means of support and labor to make this year’s conservation festival a success.
Additionally, the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality and The Idaho Fish and Game for supplying essential supplies and a speaker.
Below are the location details and specifics for the day’s events:
Base Camp Location: 2237 Old River Road, Kingston, ID. (River Frontage)
9:00 am- Meet at Base Camp for Breakfast Burritos and assignment for each groups clean-up area.
9:30 am- Each group’s members will ride-share to their assigned group clean-up area and commence clean-up activities
12:30 pm- End clean-up at assigned areas and return to Base Camp for BBQ Lunch
1:30 PM- Speaker and Presentation from the Idaho Fish and Game
2:30 pm- End of festival and “Let’s Go Fishing”
We recommend that each participant supply their own folding chair for lunch and Idaho Fish and Game presentation. Also, to save your back from constant bending we recommend participants bring if available gripper stick or nails end trash pick-up stick for roadway and shoreline clean-up and long handled fishnet for waterway clean-up.
Personal Safety is essential for a successful Conservation Festival. We recommend participants provide their own personal protection equipment which would include gloves, sun-blocking hats, sturdy shoes, sun-block lotion and bee sting kits if needed. A safe Festival is a Good Festival.

Thank you in advance to all of you who are giving up your summer Saturday to provide help to make the river a cleaner place.
Let’s make this a great turnout and event,
